Tribes: Warband
Tribes: Warband is a M & B sequel that adds new units, maps,top up game factions and a different campaign map. It also improves upon the original game with graphical enhancements and an expanded narrative and quest system. It also has a more robust multiplayer mode.
To get started, players create a Warband and choose a leader for it. This will be the player that gives orders to the rest of the Warband. The leader is given a special skill that makes it more difficult to kill him or her. Once the Warband is created, it can be posted for other players to join in on the adventure.
Once the Warband is created, it can take part in campaigns against other Warbands and hostile creatures. After the battle, the Warband will calculate its rewards and determine stat & skill advances. The warband can also buy new equipment for the surviving members of its unit.
One of the major changes in Tribes: Warband is that it features a more dynamic economy. The economy is based on the production of a number of different resources. The production of these resources is influenced by the location of the resource, its current value and the number of tribes that are currently producing it.
The game also adds a slew of new units and skills. There are new melee and ranged units such as the Fyreslayers, a group of duardin murderers with a ton of melee attacks. Another new unit is the Stormcast Vanguard, an elite squadron that can buff the attacks of everyone within 6 inches of it on a quad roll.
Other additions in Tribes: Warband include an actual kingdom feature where the player can be a king (in original M & B you needed mods to do this), an improved morale mechanic, a more realistic way to upgrade troops, and a larger map. There are also a few more lore-appropriate rules, like the fact that a warband's leader will lose morale when fighting his or her own faction.
Fans of Japan and its unique history will want to check out Gekokujo, a Warband mod that takes the player back to the Sengoku period. There are a lot of historically accurate clans and units to check out. Another great option is L'Aigle, a total conversion that lets the player lead the French army across Europe in the Napoleonic Wars.
Crypt of the Necromancer
Crypt of the Necromancer is a roguelike with a twist. It blends traditional rogue-like elements with the rhythm-matching mechanic from rhythm games. This makes it a bit more difficult than other roguelikes, but also adds an element of strategy and intuition that keeps the game interesting. In addition, the graphics are excellent and the music is great. The game is available for PC, Mac, and Linux.
The story of the game revolves around Cadence, a necromancer who bit off more than she could chew. She ended up being killed, but was brought back to life through some magic. While it takes some time to master the controls and enemies, once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to become engrossed in this dungeon-crawler. The game is very addictive and has plenty of replay value.

In the top left corner (A) of the screen, there are slots for your shovel, weapon, head, body, shoes, and torch. Pressing certain keys will activate these items and allow you to perform different actions.

This unique game will surely convert some fans of the series who were previously turned off by the thought of another MMO occupying their hard drive.
