Nonetheless, they continue to sell lottery tickets to help their families. Many tourists have even taken pictures and made videos of them. Others post them on social media.

Berjaya Corp enters the market

Berjaya Corp Bhd, a Malaysian company, has entered the lottery market in Vietnam. This is the first time that a foreign company has entered the country's lottery industry. The company's unit has signed a business cooperation agreement with Vietnam Computerized Lottery One Member Co Ltd. It is expected that the first game will be launched in mid-2016 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Berjaya is a Malaysian conglomerate that owns a number of businesses. These include hotels, casinos, resorts, real estate, motor vehicle sales, and consumer goods. Some of its biggest projects are located in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
